LUDINGTON PARTICIPATES AT UNCITRAL Working Group III
Carol Ludington represented the Forum for International Conciliation and Arbitration (“FICA”) at the 34th session of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (“UNCITRAL”) Working Group III held at the United Nations in Vienna, Austria, and New York, New York, regarding Investor-State dispute settlement reform.
Ludington PARTICIPATES AT UNCITRAL WORKING GROUP II
Carol Ludington represented the Forum for International Conciliation and Arbitration (“FICA”) and spoke to the assembled delegates and NGO’s at recent sessions of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (“UNCITRAL”) Working Group II (Dispute Resolution) held at the United Nations in Vienna, Austria and New York, NY. During its session in February, 2018 the Working Group completed its work on the preparation of a draft convention and a draft amended Model Law on international settlement agreements resulting from mediation. Both instruments were approved by the Commission at its summer 2018 session.
